- Kind of personal information ExtraShip collect and hold
Any personal information which we collect from you depends on your relationship with ExtraShip. As a customer or supplier it will generally include your name, business and e-mail addresses and contact number. It may include your financial details. In some cases we may collect details of your driver’s license number, vehicle registration number, financial details, photo and date of birth. We do not collect personal information that we do not need.
Any personal information which we collect will be solely for the purpose of providing our services, and we will not store it for any longer period than is legally permissible and required for this purpose.

Extraship collects most of personal information directly from you. For example, when you become a customer we may ask you to fill your details by using our website or on telephone/e-mail while assisting you with our services. This information is held in hard copy and/or electronic databases. We may collect information about you that is publicly available such as from other websites.
We may collect few de-personalized data which does not record personal data as such the date of visit to site, the path taken, the browser used, IP address etc is used to better understand how the site is functioning and to conclude upon demographic information.

We need to collect personal information so that we can provide our products and services and conduct business. Specifically, we need to collect personal information to interact with our customers and suppliers often to meet contractual obligations to these parties. ExtraShip does not sell, rent or trade your personal information to third parties. However, your personal information may be disclosed to thired parties if required by applicable laws, or to service providers who provide services in connection with our products and services. ExtraShip takes reasonable steps to ensure the security of your personal information. We frequently update our protecting software to protect our system from computer viruses. Further, all ExtraShip employees are required, as a condition of employment, to treat personal information held by ExtraShip as confidential. However, you should be aware that the internet is not a secure environment. We cannot protect personal information before it reaches us.

- Resolving your concerns
You have the right to complain if you believe that your privacy has been compromised or if you believe that ExtraShip has not complied with the Privacy Act. You can do by contacting us. We will endeavour to respond to you within 3 business days, and to resolve your complaint within 10 business days. When the nature of the complaint or other circumstances mean that it is not possible to meet these timelines then we will let you know within that time frame.
